A member register that knows who needs a visit today.

Every church already keeps a member list somewhere — a notebook, a spreadsheet, a group chat. Church Companion turns that list into a dashboard that flags birthdays, overdue visits and missed prayer requests, with no internet connection and no login required.

Basic tier · Free, forever

Everything a small church needs to never lose a name

Church Companion Basic ships free and complete — no trial, no locked features. It runs entirely on the device it’s installed on, with no server and no login.

  • Care dashboard — birthdays, overdue visits, long absences and prayer requests, at a glance
  • Member records — photo, contact, cell group, status, role, birthday, baptism date, notes
  • Household grouping, visit log, prayer requests and a per-member timeline
  • Sunday attendance in one tap, any past week reopened for correction
  • WhatsApp messaging with saved templates for birthdays, absences and follow-ups
  • Backup and restore to a JSON file you keep yourself

How it works

From a name on a list to a person who is cared for.

  1. Capture the person. Photo, contact, cell group, status, role, birthday, baptism date and notes — one card per member, set up once.
  2. Catch today’s signal. The dashboard surfaces birthdays, overdue visits, long absences and prayer requests the moment the app opens.
  3. Reach out. Send a saved WhatsApp message, or mark a member present at Sunday’s attendance, in a single tap.
  4. Keep the record. Every visit, prayer request and milestone is logged to that person’s timeline for next time.

Design principle

No server. No login. No exceptions.

Membership data is sensitive, so Church Companion never has a server to begin with.

  • Works with no internet — every feature runs the same, even where the connection is unreliable.
  • Data stays on this device — member information is never sent to the cloud; it lives only on the device it was entered on.
  • The only thing online is the ad banner — a small banner at the bottom of the screen connects to the internet and never touches member data. This is how the app stays free.
